Fresh stains

  1. Rinse from the inside out under cold running water for a few minutes
  2. Spray a combination of dishwashing liquid and vinegar over stain
  3. Allow to soak in for five minutes
  4. Scrub stain gently with an old soft toothbrush
  5. Soak in warm water for 20 mins or leave overnight
  6. Sprinkle bicarb soda over any remaining stain prior to washing
  7. Wash in machine as per care instructions

Old stains

  1. Hang item in the sun

Vinegar’s acidity makes it great for cleaning and lifting stubborn stains and odours. The dishwashing liquid is effective for removing oily substances.
