North Queensland's Largest Parenting Expo is Here
Most businesses in North Queensland want to market themselves to families and it goes without saying all families want to know what products and services they have available to them in their community. As a company whose expertise is to provide solutions for local businesses and families we created the PakMag Expo & Family Funday.
The PakMag Expo & Family Funday has been a free community event for the past decade in celebration of PakMag’s birthday.
The event involves the PakMag Expo which is made up of exhibitors and the Family Funday which includes various activities and entertainment for families.
In 2019 we had over 5,000 people through the doors of the PakMag Expo & Family Funday Cairns and for over a decade the event has been a great success.

Who attends the PakMag Parenting Expo?
The families that come to our expo are parents and guardians with children aged 0 – 18, and those who are planning for or expecting an addition to the family. They are in their high spending years buying houses, cars, household items and services that make the lives for their family or children better.
At PakMag, we will do all the hard work for you
Marketing to families is what we are incredible at. We have many strategies to ensure we have lots of families attend our amazing day. Through promotions, prizes, entertainment, and our PakMag Passport activity (attendees will visit all stalls as part of their entry to the major prize draw), all our booked clients will get great exposure at our event.
We of course use a mix of traditional and digital media to get our message out, with our strong brand and being renowned in the community for fantastic events – our followers love us.
Social Media
PakMag has a very loyal fan club on Facebook. We will have a strong digital strategy with updates in the lead up to the event, and live videos from the event in action, plus engaging videos post event.
PakMag Magazine
It wouldn’t get into the hearts and minds of families if it wasn’t in PakMag, so we will of course have strategy in print for our loyal readers.
Radio
Commercials played on Triple M and HIT in Cairns, and only Triple M in Townsville in the lead up to the PakMag Expo and Family Funday.
EDM
EDM’s will be sent out to PakMag database promoting the PakMag Expo and Family Funday.
