1. Discover an underwater wonderland

What better way to see the reef than getting up close yourself? This incredible tour will take you to two different reef locations where you can snorkel or scuba dive and discover the underwater wonderland that surrounds the Cairns shores. If you don’t want to get your feet wet, you can choose an optional 10-minute helicopter ride to experience the views as well. 2. See the Rainforest a Different Way

If you’re looking for an eventful but relaxed day out to nearby town Kuranda, this tour is for you. You will begin the morning by boarding the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway train, which will take you into the mountains passing waterfalls and stunning views along the way! Upon arrival, you have free time to explore Kuranda, including the many wildlife attractions and markets it has to offer. To end the day, you will make your way back down to Cairns on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

3. Explore the Daintree

The Daintree Rainforest is a must-see for visitors to the region. This tour will let you experience the wildlife, mountains, sea, and rainforest! You will visit the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas where you will meet kangaroos, koalas, birdlife, reptiles, and other native Australian animals. The day continues with exploring the gorgeous Daintree National Park. Take a guided walk exploring the rainforest surrounding the Mossman Gorge and enjoy a relaxing 1-hour cruise on the Daintree River. If you’re up for it, you can even enjoy a swim at the picturesque Cape Tribulation Beach.

4. See the Sights of the Atherton Tablelands

Escape the heat for a day and feel the cool breeze in the mountains. The Atherton Tablelands has much to offer, and this tour will show you the highlights of it all. Admire natural wonders such as the towering Curtain Fig Tree, the magical Millaa Millaa Falls, and stunning lookouts. Visit the amazing Paronella Park, including a guided tour and up to 2 hours to explore the gorgeous park. 5. Spend the Day at a Tropical Island

Green Island is situated a short ferry ride from Cairns, and will wow you with the tranquil blue waters and beautiful reefs close to the shoreline! See the underwater wonderland without getting wet by joining the glass bottom boat tour, or opt for a more adventurous scuba dive. Lounge on the gorgeous, bright beaches or relax in the shade and go for a stroll around the island.
