Mackay’s Got Talent celebrates young people from 12 to 18 years old at the time of the final and their many performing art skills, by offering an event for young people to showcase their talent. Mackay’s Got Talent occurs in April every year at the MECC.
Come and see our amazing finalists perform as well as our last winner Tia Mullins, Sensory Circus Tribe and other amazing local talented youths ply their craft for your amazement – This event will blow your expectations of what we have to offer away

Easter Carnival and Dive-in-Movie
When: Sunday, 16 April 2017, 9.00am (Carnival @ Bluewater Quay)
When: Sunday, 16 April 2017, 6.00pm (Movie @ Bluewater Lagoon)
Where: Mackay City Centre

The 2017 Easter Carnival will be held in the Mackay City Centre on Easter Sunday morning at Bluewater Quay from 9am until 12pm. This FREE, family event will include live stage performances, Easter crafts, stalls, free amusement rides, a Monster Easter Egg hunt, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The family-friendly fun will also continue in the evening with a special Dive in Movie, showing: Robinson Crusoe: The Wild Life.
Gates open at 6pm @ Bluewater Lagoon
Entry is a gold coin donation.

Lighting is dim, sound lowered, volunteers monitoring fire exit doors.
