Smithfield Shopping Centre Sand Wonderland

Be amazed as you watch 10 tonnes of sand being transformed into a dragon wonderland. Visit the centre between the 4th January – 10th January to witness the magic!
There will also be sand art workshops so kids can make their very own sand creation. Workshops on from Friday 11th – Friday 25th January at 10.00am, 11.00am, 1.00pm and 2.00pm daily (45 minute sessions).

What happened in the Land of Oz long before Dorothy arrived? Elphaba is the misunderstood and smart girl with emerald-green skin who grows up to be the Wicked Witch of the West. The story is told live on stage through a talented cast of Cairns performers, spectacular set and full orchestra in the brand-new Cairns Performing Arts Centre.
