Hill’s Pet Nutrition Finding Furever Homes for 50,000 Furry Friends

Hill’s Pet Nutrition is on a mission to make a pawsative impact through their Food, Love & Shelter campaign. The company hopes to help 50,000 cats and dogs in Australia find their furever home and aims to raise $25,000 for their partner charities.

And they are looking for you to help.

Simply upload a photo of your pet and Hill’s will donate $10 to one if its partner charities including the RSPCA, Lort Smith Animal Hospital, CatHaven, Cat Protection Society of NSW, Sydney Dogs and Cats Home and The Hobart Cat Centre.

I’ve witnessed first hand how incredible it can be to adopt a pet. Not only can bringing a pet into your home save the animal and ensure a happy, safe environment but it can also enrich the lives for yourself and your kids.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a leading name in pet care, are calling on all Australians to take to social media and share their pet photos to the Hill’s Facebook Page. Until 17 October, Hill’s Pet Nutrition will donate $10 to its partner charities, up to a maximum of $25,000 nationwide. The pet pic with the highest votes will earn the proud pet parent a $1,500 VISA prepaid card.

In addition to donating much needed funds to partner charities such as the RSPCA and CatHaven, Hill’s is also encouraging all Australians to volunteer, donate and/or adopt a pet into their family home with its annual Food, Shelter & Love fundraising drive.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition General Manager, John Douglas, said: “Hundreds of cats and dogs are abandoned in Australia each year and Hill’s Pet Nutrition is committed to finding new, safe, secure and loving homes for these pets. Our annual Food, Love & Shelter campaign enables us to partner with local Australian charities to raise awareness and much needed funds to support animal shelters across Australia.”
