One of Cairns’ most-loved annual community events, the day incorporates free family entertainment, leading in to the Grand Parade later in the afternoon and culminating in a spectacular fireworks display in the evening. The enormous street party is expected to draw crowds of over 20,000, celebrating the diverse and colourful Cairns community.

Celebrated on the iconic Cairns Esplanade, families can kick back and watch the Grand Parade as numerous brightly coloured floats pass by. Be entertained by roving performers and don’t forget to stick around for the spectacular fireworks display and free family concert closing the day off.
