Business News: Have You Heard of Townsville Grammar School?
You can now take advantage of great education in Townsville across three locations! Townsville’s oldest secondary school, Townsville Grammar School, was opened in North Ward in 1888, then opened its first Junior School at Annandale twenty years ago, in 1997. And this year TGS has added a second Junior campus – this one in North Shore.
Grammar’s North Shore campus has opened, offering a thrilling blend of learning and laughter to children from Prep to Year 2 this year, in addition to their Early Education Centre at the same location. As the children grow, the campus will grow with them, adding to the educational choices available in the northern beaches area of Townsville.
Normally a new school would mean taking a leap of faith about the type of education your child will be experiencing but this is where the North Shore Grammar campus has a huge advantage: 100 per cent of the staff are from Grammar’s Annandale campus, with a track record of giving children the best possible start in their educational journey.
To complement the North Shore campus, the School has also co-located an Early Education Centre just over the fence, offering Pre-Kindy for three-year-olds and Pre-Prep for four-year-olds. To ensure this opportunity is accessible to the whole family there is also a free bus service from the North Shore campus to the Annandale campus for Years 3 to 6; and a second bus directly from the North Shore campus to the North Ward campus for Years 7 to 12. A complete educational package to ensure all children have access to this educational opportunity.
