Mount Sheridan Plaza is undergoing a $50million refurbishment and expansion with an expected completion date of March 2012. The expansion will include the only Kmart on the South side of Cairns, Woolworths supermarket, discount chain store The Reject Shop, a new 300-seat food court and room for 40 specialty stores. The redeveloped centre will enjoy over 1100 car parks of which 400 will be located in a basement car park with convenient access to the centre. The current centre will stay open and available to customers throughout the expansion for the convenience of our shoppers. The expansion of the centre is expected to create more than 300 permanent jobs. |
