Mission To provide services to our Catholic School communities which support them in achieving quality outcomes for students and in promoting the ongoing development of Catholic Education Townsville Catholic Education Office is a service organisation supporting 31 Catholic schools and employing more than 1500 staff throughout the Diocese. Of the more than 11 500 students attending these schools, around 10% are Indigenous enrolments, with numbers increasing annually. The breakdown of schools is outlined below: Primary schools = 20 Secondary colleges = 7 P-12 schools = 3 Edmund Rice Flexible Learning Centre (Townsville) Townsville Catholic Education Office operates under the direction of Most Reverend Bishop Michael Putney, Bishop of Townsville and under the organisational leadership of the Director, Dr Cathy Day. |
