To provide services to our Catholic School communities which support them in achieving quality outcomes for students and in promoting the ongoing development of Catholic Education
Townsville Catholic Education Office is a service organisation supporting 31 Catholic schools and employing more than 1500 staff throughout the Diocese.

Of the more than 11 500 students attending these schools, around 10% are Indigenous enrolments, with numbers increasing annually. The breakdown of schools is outlined below:
Primary schools = 20
Secondary colleges = 7
P-12 schools = 3

Townsville Catholic Education Office operates under the direction of Most Reverend Bishop Michael Putney, Bishop of Townsville and under the organisational leadership of the Director, Dr Cathy Day.
